I’m a board-certified, NYU-trained internist specializing in the care of women in perimenopause and menopause.
I am based in Fairfield County, Connecticut, where I provide evidence-based, individualized care that includes hormone therapy (biologic options), non-hormonal treatments, and lifestyle guidance.
My passion for this work is personal! When I entered perimenopause, I experienced a number of symptoms and consulted several physicians who did not believe my concerns were hormone-related—but I became convinced they were. The process was frustrating and difficult. Eventually, I found a physician who specializes in perimenopause and menopause care. Starting hormone therapy was life-changing!
That experience inspired me to focus my practice on helping other women navigate this transition with confidence. My mission is to help you feel like yourself again and thrive during this stage of life.

Dr. Weisenfeld earned her medical degree and completed her internal medicine residency and rheumatology fellowship at New York University (NYU) Langone.
For more than ten years, she has practiced internal medicine with Hartford HealthCare in Connecticut. She also has provided women’s healthcare through the telehealth platform Galileo, expanding access to expert, compassionate healthcare for women across the country.
Dr. Weisenfeld lives in Connecticut with her family, and practices in Fairfield and Westport. She provides telehealthcare across the entire state of Connecticut.

Do you accept insurance?
We do not accept insurance for your appointment time. By operating outside of the insurance system, I am able to spend more time with each patient to create personalized care plans without the limitations and red tape imposed by insurance companies. Please note that your insurance can be used outside our office for laboratory orders (e.g., bloodwork), imaging, and prescriptions based on individual plans. I prescribe FDA-approved medications and treatments, and I take into account your insurance coverage and available cost-savings plans.
Can I use my FSA or HSA to pay for my visits?
We do accept FSA/HSA payments for visits. We recommend checking with your FSA/HSA provider to confirm eligibility. We can provide you with a superbill for submission for out-of-network benefits.
How are laboratory test results handled by your office?
Laboratory results from Quest Diagnostics or LabCorp are reviewed promptly upon receipt. You can view the results in the portal. If findings require timely discussion or clinical follow-up, you will be contacted to schedule a 15-minute video or in-person Laboratory Results Visit at $125. If there are no urgent or clinically significant issues identified, your laboratory results will be reviewed with you at your next scheduled appointment. If however, you would like to discuss the results sooner, you are welcome to schedule a 15-minute video or in-person Laboratory Results Visit at $125.
What are your cancellation and "no-show" policies?
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the appointment time, Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a $200 cancellation fee. Failure to arrive for a scheduled appointment may result in a $200 "no-show" fee.
Do you treat patients with breast cancer and other hormone-sensitive cancers?
I offer non-hormonal medications for patients with hormone-sensitive cancers. I can refer you to other providers who may provide additional therapies.
